I’ve been on several dates here, but seem to continuously meet girls who are just after my body!!!! Was brought up to think on a cerebral level when relating to the opposite sex (particularly on a first date) but now I find that the "Sex in the City" generation has arrived - very disconcerting!! About me: I’m a sharp witted guy. Some people tell me that I've a strange sense of humour; but I’m considered a laugh-a-minute by those who know me well! I'm fussy over small details, not quite Jack Nicholson from "As good as it gets" but along those lines, definitely not the laid back type! I keep fit by going to the gym, and go jogging from time to tome; but I wouldn’t describe myself as the outdoorsy type. I like taking pictures (check out my gallery). I like listening to music, watching films, going to concerts, and visiting galleries. I like to travel from time to time, and particularly like to visit big cities, but I also that it is important to have time to chill out and recharge: just going to a coffee shop and watching the people passing by is my idea of the perfect Sunday afternoon. Favourite films: Glenn Gould Hereafter; Three Colours Red; The English Patient; Kagemusha; anything by Yasujiro Ozu; Paris Texas, Mission Impossible, Nil by Mouth (I don’t think there’s any connection!). I like classical music, especially piano music. Lately, I’ve taken an interest in Jazz and other genres of music. PS: Seem to have dwelt on the negative above, maybe this means that I'm the glass-half-empty type - oh dear, there aren't many of us pessimists on this site!!

My ideal partner is a girl, preferably younger: who I never get bored looking at; who makes me want to come home early from work so that I can spend more time with her; who is intelligent, and who looks great in jeans. Well it did say ideal!
